The Vagabonds vs Douglas Vets memorial match, celebrating the life of Vagabond Mike Henthorn and helping to raise thousands that went to Cruse Bereavement Care. The game started off as touch, most players had to dust the cobwebs from their old boots and began to show the skills that they would have displayed many, many, many years prior. The first big hit of the afternoon was thrown and led to the game changing to full contact much to the enjoyment of the crowd. Following the game there was lots of food and drink had in the clubhouse along with a prize raffle with many wonderful gifts being donated to help raise money for such a worthy cause.
